Yes, there is deduction in BA Hons. Except BA Hons language course. If you are from Science stream and you want to take admission in B.A. Hons course than your some percentage is deduced. This exam completes in 3 steps:First step is prelims exam , it is objective (popularly known as CSAT).

To pursue Ph.D in education you need to complete your graduation and post graduation in Education (B.Ed, M.Ed. post graduation in education) then you have to clear entrance exam (for example - UGC NET exam) which is conducted by many colleges and after the counselling process, you will get admission.
