Mostly through distance/part time MBA you will not be able to change your industry, assuming you are currently working in some industry.
If you want to change industry you will need to enroll for full time mba program. If you can I would recommend to go for full time mba. I have rarely seen people getting major boost in their career post distance MBA courses. ( I have more than 10 years working exp in big corporates)
