The University of Jammu is accredited as 'A+' grade university by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India. It came into existence in 1969 via Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following the bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir. Moreover, over fifty government and non-government colleges are affiliated with the University of Jammu. The university is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Admission to all the programmes at Jammu University is based on JUET. JUET is a qualifying entrance exam for admission to PG, PG Diploma, and UG programmes offered by Jammu University. The university conducts JUET entrance annually. Candidates seeking admission can download the JUET application form from the official website of the university.

The University of Jammu offers various scholarships both on the basis of merit and need to its students. A list of scholarships offered by the university is include OC & MIL Scholarships, Postgraduate Scholarship, Scholarships for the LLB Course, Merit and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships for Diploma Courses, Regulation for Utilisation of Contingency Grant Admissible to the Scholars Working Under the Scheme Of University Research Scholarship.

BTech at IIT Ropar is offered in nine specialisations namely Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Civil Engineering, Metallurgical  Materials Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. To be eligible for these programmes candidates need a minimum of 75% in class 12 exam.

Admission to BTech courses at IIT Ropar is given on the scores of the JEE Main and JEE Advanced. There is also JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. Students who qualify for JEE Main with good rank can appear for JEE Advanced. After the JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations, JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission to IITs. 

According to the report 2021-22, there are around 11,000 international students from over 110 countries around the world at the University of California San Diego. UCSD enrolled around 43,000 students in the Fall of 2021.

Indian students who are planning to apply for UCSD admission must meet the University of California San Diego requirements. The University of California San Diego requirements for undergraduate admission at UCSD are Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Senior Secondary Certificate, and English Proficiency Requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, and DET).

The University of California San Diego acceptance rate is 34%. This means that for every 100 applicants only 34 are admitted. The high acceptance rate makes UCSD admissions more selective for international students. It is necessary for students to meet UCSD’s admission requirements and other components of applications to get into the university successfully.

International students can apply for UCSD admissions from August 1 once the UC application opens. The University of California San Diego application deadline is from October 1 to November 30. The University of California San Diego enrolls for the Fall term only and students can apply a year before by using the UC Application. 

International students who are looking to get into the University of California San Diego must earn a GPA of 3.4 (or better) with no grade lower than a "C". The mentioned GPA is for undergraduate admission for international students.
