There are many colleges in India which take student after their Diploma like the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, offers a four-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. ). Programme, and it is possible to get direct second-year admission (lateral entry) into this programme after completing a Diploma in Engineering.
