Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the most popular BTech specialisations. In 2022 placements at NIT Calicut, a 100% placement was recorded for the CSE branch. As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, the institute is was ranked 31 among the top Engineering institutions in the country. Thus, it is a good college for BTech CSE aspirants.

Some of the typical and also atypical discrepancies you can find the CEED 2026 admit card include

• The name of the candidate may be incorrectly spelled

• Some information may be missing, for instance, a few digits of your roll number, or name of the exam centre.

• Information may be blurred, for instance the photograph or signature

• A wrong exam centre may be allocated.

NIT Calicut offers B.Tech in 10 different specialisations. Candidates have to score at least 75 percent aggregate in their class 12th Board Examinations. They can apply for admission in B.Tech at NIT Calicut through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main . Candidates with a good merit and decent score are selected for admission. Final selection will depend upon the JoSAA counselling.

The last date to fix discrepancies in the CEED 2026 Admit card was January 08, 2026. It could be fixed only through the candidate portal. Candidates must check all the details mentioned in the admit card thoroughly. 

• Ensure a strong grasp of Physics, Chemistry, and Math (PCM) from Class 11 & 12. Textbooks are a great starting point.
• Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Focus on areas needing improvement.
• Plan a study schedule that dedicates 3-4 hours daily for focused studying.
• Regularly solve problems from reference books and previous year papers. Take mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.
• Consider coaching classes or online courses for structured learning and additional support.
• Revise concepts periodically. Stay updated with the exam format and syllabus changes (if any).

The cutoff marks vary from one course to another. For BTech, the closing rank in 2022 ranges from 11,049 to 54,460. Photograph which needs to be pasted on admit card of NEET PG 2025 must fulfill following requirements

• A minimum size of 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate.
• A caption with the name of the aspirant along with the date of taking the photograph at the bottom of the photo.
• A white or very light-colored background.
• Printed on high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolution.
• Natural appearance and skin tone. No kinks or distortions.

Yes, candidates must bring a printout of the CEED 2026 admit card for exam. Soft copies of the admit card will not be accepted. Also, along with the admit card, the candidate should also bring a photo ID proof.

Hall ticket for CEED 2026 was made available for download from January 2, 2026, 1 pm.

The institute offers two UG courses, five PG courses, and one doctoral course. The offered courses by NIT Calicut are as namely BTech, BArch, MTech, MSc, MBA, MPlan, MCA, and PhD. 

National Board of Examination (NBE) has not specified NEET PG 2025 admit card must be printed in colour. As black and white printout of the admit card may not be easily readable which may led issues during examination. Therefore, students are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card to avoid any inconvenience during exam. 

A total of 13 specialisations are offered in the Goa University MSc, namely Electronics, Marine Biotechnology, Microbiology, Marine Science, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Zoology, Marine Microbiology, Physics, Botany, Applied Geology, and Chemistry.
