Nursing courses have had a long tradition of being primarily female-centric, but recently, a few nursing institutions across government and private lines are finally accepting male applicants. The B.Sc Nursing programme is open to both male and female students in several institutions across India, and there are no general conditions against male students pursuing this course.

Such is the case, for example :-
1. *Government College of Nursing, Somajiguda* in Hyderabad: This institution offers B.Sc Nursing for both male and female candidates and admission is subject to availability of seats.
2. Similarly AIIMS Delhi, admits also male candidates to their B.Sc Nursing.

Check the eligibility requirements and availability of seats for admission to slightly some colleges, as a few may have limited seats for boys, before moving on to a college you wish to apply.

Candidates appearing for PU UGLAW exam day will be asked to carry the following items along with the admit card:

• A valid photo Identity proof as issued by the government authority - Passport, Driver's License, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card etc. School Identity Proof with photograph of a candidate may be permitted at the discretion of the exam centre officials. 
• Pen with blue or black ink, and an HB pencil to mark answers in OMR sheet
• A transparent water bottle, a sanitizer bottle (50 ml) and mask will be allowed
• Candidates were allowed to carry their medicine or eatables if they are diabetic. 
• Candidates who are handicapped and require help of Scribe were allowed to bring their scribe with prior permission, but they were asked to carry documents for PWD category and Scribe's eligibility as per the exam authority's guidelines.
