JNU MCA eligibility criteria: BCA/ Bachelor degree in computer Science engineering or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks.

Or B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level with at least 55% marks.

The admission will be based on CUET PG conducted by NTA.

Students who clear the shiats entrance exam are elgible to sit for the counselling session. They should clear the minimum requirement they have.

If ypu live in Delhi you can choose the SHIATS entrance exam centre in the city itself. The SHIATS entrance exam 2026 will be held in different states across the nation and among those states one state is New Delhi.

The main campus is of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) is in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

It is typically 100 questions asked in shiats exam for the UG level students.

Students can download the admit card by logging it into portal of the website of SHIATS.

• Find admit card link
• Enter details like application number, form number, and other details.
• Generate & click on the download button.
• Take a printout of it

It will release few weeks before the official announcement of the exam. The SHIATS 2026 Admit card will be released in the second week of May 2026, tentatively. 

It is a mandatory document to carry in the examination hall. 

Students are advised to take a printout of their admit card as it won't be sent by email or post.

To get admission here you need to meet the eligibility criteria first which generally requires passing 12th with chemistry, physics, biology or maths.

SHIATS 2026 key format details

• The mode of the SHIATS 2026 exam will be offline mode.
• The type of multiple choice questions (MCQs)
• Total Questions will be 100.
• The SHIATS 2026 exam will have 3 sections:
  Physics - 30 marks
  Chemistry - 30 marks
  Biology - 40 marks
• +1 mark for correct answer, 0 for incorrect answer or unattempt.
• The exam duration will be 1.5 hours.
