U.G.C stands for University Grants Commission which provides recognition for universities in India while N.C.T.E stands for National Council for Teacher Education which is to formally overlook standards, procedures and processes in the Indian education system.
To be eligible for government teaching job, you should have a bachelors degree from a recognized university along with B.ED degree preferably from a college that is U.G.C approved and offers recognition from N.C.T.E also.
Besides Teacher Eligibility Test is mandatory to be cleared.
