There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production which would eventually lead to direction. -You can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematographer or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D visualizations. -You may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. You can get into production, whether live or animated. -You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ PC game. -You can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. -You could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. -You can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. -You can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e. g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, VFX, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars, resulting in better rewards for designers. Some people are passionate about acting, they must understand that acting cannot provide jobs since this is an assignment based industry and one must fit the role. Germany is very much known for its technological advancements, especially Automobile and mechanical. Few good universities that you can look for are
Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen,
RWTH Aachen University,
Esslingen University of Applied Sciences,
University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt /
University of Applied Sciences Landshut,
etc.
Most of the universities have English as the medium of teaching.
For admission you might have to give GRE and IELTS / TOEFL.
Also education in Germany is government funded, there is a possibility that you might have to pay a minimal fee ranging from euro 140-500.
For more information on German Universities, I would request you to visit the nearest DAAD office. DAAD is officially authorized to provide information about education in Germany. They have offices in major cities in India.
If possible go for a German language course as it will help you find a part time job. A student in Germany can work 90 full days or 180 half days.
