Hello, Admissions in Tamilnadu are based on strict criteria which are given out by Anna University which controls and processes the complete admission system for admission to different engineering colleges in the state. I am attaching a link which will give you all the required information about this. Please go through this and decide for yourself if your son is really eligible or not. B.Sc (Post Basic) is a type of B.Sc (Honors), in which the candidate has done some prior academic work which is lower than that of a Bachelor's degree. For example, if you have done GNM (Nursing), then you can directly opt for a Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing), in lieu of spending 4 years of doing B.Sc (Nursing) again.

The admissions are strictly based on merit, written test (where as applicable), and personal interview and on first come first serve basis. Interested candidate should fill up form in block letters, indicating the required course along with the relevant documents as indicated above. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
