1. The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory organisation set up by Union government, for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education.
It provides recognition for universities in India, and provides funds for government-recognized universities and colleges.
2. UGC and AICTE are two apex organisations that cater for the higher studies in India.
One of the main differences between University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education, is that the later one basically deals with technical education.
UGC approves universities in the country. It provides funds for affiliated universities and colleges. The AICTE is only a statutory body, which deals with co-ordinate development and proper planning of the technical education system in the country.

Besides placements, there are other factors that define a good and reputed institute such as Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation and Infrastructure.
Consider the above parameters and then take a wise decision after thorough discussion with your peer group, family and faculty at college.
And for best results, I may suggest you to personally visit the institute and interact with the existing batches and also try reaching alumni for clear and transparent review.

It baffles me as to why at the onset you wish to get through some special quota when there are oportunities available in plenty which you have yet to tap, I believe. The institutes you have mentioned are quite high profile and seem to be occupied by a different strata of students. If nothing succeeds and you have the finance available plus a desire to somehow do MBA then any of the institutes you have named would be good enough. But the credibility of them is yet to be confirmed & re-affirmed in the job market. I suggest you give CAT exam as its score is officially accepted by several management institutes and even some private ones are considering the CAT scores off the record. CAT is just not for IIM's only, remember that. Prepare hard and try to score as much as possible in CAT exam and get into an institute of some higher repute.

If you fulfill the criteria mentioned below then you may sit for EAMCET :
1)
Candidates should be of India Nationality or Persons of India Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
2)
Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements.
3)
For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses :
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2

In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

In the case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates should have completed 17 years of as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year Admissions.

For B.Sc. (Agriculture) /B.Sc. (Hort.) /B.V.Sc. & A.H. /B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) /B.Sc. (CA &BM) Courses :
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with any two /three of the subjects indicated against each course.
