Hi,
* To join lateral B.Tech after completing diploma in Mechanical engineering, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

Hi,
Two regular courses can't be pursued together, one should be regular and the other should be distance / short term certificate course.
No doubt, managing two courses will be strenuous task and will demand proper time. Opt for two courses ONLY if you believe that you can perform and score well as it gets tougher by doubling the burden. Pursuing two courses together won't help attain a good job. It depends on how well you have handled the stress, understood the subject and scored well. It is your hard work and determination that would pay you at the end. So, think and decide wisely before taking the step.

UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
* To be eligible for IAS :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
- You must be an Indian citizen.
* Preparation :
To crack the exam, the preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy.
- You may refer to books such as :
General Studies Manual
Indian Politics by Laks
