Eligibility: The candidate should be a registered BDS doctor after completion of an internship. The degree should be recognised by the Dental Council of India.

Post-Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology (PGCOI) programme is a one-year programme of 30 credits (14 credits theory and 16 credits practical) developed by IGNOU in collaboration with the Dental Council of India (DCI) for BDS doctors. This programme was launched in July 2008. The Programme aims to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of Oral Implantology and enable the learners to assess, diagnose and manage the cases requiring dental implants.
