You can prepare for GATE 2022 by both means. If you want to prepare by coaching then prefer Made easy institute as it only provides the coaching for GATE exam. The cut off varies yearly to get admission in IITs. It depends on the branch and level of the exam. On an average the marks required to get admission in IITs is around 28-40 depending upon the categories, branch and exam level.

It is great to know that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering in aeronautical engineering branch after completion of your diploma in engineering. The best is of course IIT. You will need to score at least 75% in the Diploma and then clear JEE mains and JEE advanced for this.
