No, the selection criteria for the course is merit-based and college also offers APICET scores. The college provides a full-time, two-year MBA course. The MBA degree is offered by Andhra University. To enrol for this course, candidates should meet the last educational qualification set by the college. Students should pass graduation with 50% aggregate to meet the eligibility for MBA admission.

There are two ways to get admission to BTech at AITAM. Admissions are both merit and entrance-based. Candidates who passed Class 12 in the relevant stream are eligible to apply for the BTech course. As per the admission process,  a total of 70% seats are offered based on EAMCET exam scores. However, 30% seats are granted through Management quota by the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Guntur.
