Hi Goutam,
Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. There are few differences, for e.g. mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and ECE have high placement records.
Other than these you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So choose a suitable branch.

For today time CSE is better as it has wide scope and good career options available. ECE has very less scope at present time and also it is not easy to get a core job in ECE. So preference should be given to CSE. Rest it depends on your area of interest and expertise. If you choose ECE then I would suggest to look for foreign universities and also pursue higher course like MS or M.tech. You can do this in CSE also. CSE have high demand today with good packages being offered to students.

There are so many engineering colleges in Bhopal to pursue Mechanical engineering but I will recommend Rabindranath Tagore University. The faculty of RTNU engineering college not only focuses on providing theoretical knowledge but they also emphasize practical training by conducting seminars, workshops, and conferences. RTNU also has tie-ups with good companies to offer internship programs to their students.

Both the branches above have equal opportunities to get a good job and the rest depends on how you study your engineering and enhance your skill so that those can be used in your work area.
