Before applying for the exam, its better to know whether you are eligible or not for the exam. National Testing Agency has decided some guidelines for UGC NET aspirants to appear. Below you can check out UGC NET Eligibility Criteria -
Academic Qualification for UGC NET The percentage criteria is given below according to different categories:
1. For General Category Candidates 55% Aggregate Marks in Masters Degree
2. For OBC/SC/ST/PwD Category Candidates 50% Aggregate Marks
3. Ph.D. Degree Holders (Before 19th September 1991) 50% Aggregate Marks
Aspirants who are enrolled in post-graduation course can also apply for the exam. Age Criteria:
1. For JRF Candidates age must not more than 30 Years.
2. SC, ST, PwD, OBC, Transgenders and Female applicants get 5 years age relaxation for JRF.
3. L. M. Degree applicants get 3 years age relaxation for JRF.
4. For Assistant Professor There is no upper age limit. National Testing Agency has started the UGC NET 2020 Application Form Process from 15th March 2020. It will be continued till 30th June 2020.
