Since you are already a student, then it is university transfer that you need to check details for. You can send them the mark sheet transcripts for course mapping. Accordingly, they will be able to allocate the course and year.

Yes it is good but in comparison with the MIT and in comparison of VIT it is not as that college has no competition with this university as VIT is brand itself and IP not even have a stand in bottom also.

There are two ways to join as a lateral entry student:
1. After Diploma, you can apply through counseling, which will be conducted at Alagappa Chettiyar University, Karaikudi. Counseling call depends on your Diploma final year percentage. If you received a call for the first day counseling or topped with a rank of at least below 10, you're almost have a chance to get a seat at PSG Tech. Hi Vasundara, now this is something you have to decide basis your own interest and aptitude. VLSI, Communication systems, Power and energy systems, Nanotechnology etc. Are just some of the very popular specializations? There could be more, universities have their customized curriculum. You have to check the websites and relate what's to your interest. Scholarships are on merit, I doubt with the current CGPA if you will be eligible for one. Work harder on your academics, prepare for the GRE very strong projects and internships, LOR etc. will also be required.
