The CAT cut off for the admission in the college varies each year and is purely decided by the management of the college. The last year cut off for PGDM program was 87 percentile. To answer your second question there is no OBC or any category reservation for admissions. The shortlist is based on CAT score, academic qualifications, work experience and the performance during WAT/PI process. Hope this answers your queries. Feel free to revert back.

What any college, including FMS look into is a passion and a drive in a candidate. They see your focus. If you are giving any answer but with a sense of conviction and motivation, then there should be no issues. They want the candidate to have a clear line off thought and so the candidate should know what he/she wishes to achieve in the future.
So, in short, whether you say an entrepreneurial venture or defence, they will look for the passion for the same.
