The latest cutoff for BFA at DOT School of Design is 50 percentile in DOT-DAT entrance exam. Along with entrance exam students must have passed the 10th examination from any recognized board. 

Students will have to appear for the Design Aptitude Test (Round I and II). Selected students will be called for the Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission (Round III). Those who qualify for the Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission round will be selected for admission.

Yes DOT school of Design is more expensive than Dravadian University.But it provides the better oppurtunities with good infrastructure and a good faculty.It also has scholarship oppurtunities based on the merit scored in the entrance examination DOT-DAT (Design Aptitude Test)

The major admission in reputed B.Des colleges are based on UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design ) score. So the UCEED marks between 200-250 are good enough for getting top design colleges and some of the colleges also look into the scores scored in DOT-DAT

Yes we can get into DOT school of Design with 70 percent in class 12th.Below is the eligibility criteria based on the course

Bachelor of Design & Bachelor of Fine Arts:

Candidate shall be required to have passed higher secondry i.e 10+2 or its equivalent in any stream from any recognised institution or to have passed 10+Diploma of minimum 3 years in any stream from any recognised institution.

Master of design

undergraduate programme of minimum 3 years duration in any specialization, after 10+2 system, from any univrsity or institute recognised by law in india or full time Diploma of minimum 4 years duration in design

Admission to various courses is based on merit and personal interview round. Candidates willing to get admission must fill out the application form online. No we cannot join DOT School of Design directly .To be eligible for admission to the DOT School of Design, candidates must appear and obtain a valid score on DOT Design Aptitude Test (DOT-DAT) for all the courses . The Institute also provides scholarships up to INR 1 Lacs based on the merit scored.
