It is not the marks in percentage but in percentile that matters. It is relative score so no one can definitely say about that since it varies based upon the batch score. The benchmark is 98.8 percentile.

Please remember taking a year drop for preparation of CAT exam depends entirely on you.If you think by taking a year drop you will be able to score well in next exam then you may surely take a gap.
