In case the candidate cancels his or her admission, the fee is refunded as per the below policy of SOT PDEU:

• If a candidate applies for cancellation of his/ her admission through email/ in-person, the fees
  paid shall be refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 as administrative charges, only if such
  vacated seat gets filled up the latest by the start of the semester.
• Candidates shall be required to submit the original receipt of the fees paid for refund in the
  prescribed form.

The highest package offered to the 2024 passing-out batch was INR 61 LPA. Earlier, the highest package for the 2023 drive stood at INR 58 LPA. Looking at the past three years' data, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the MIT SOC highest package, which is depicted below:

Students who are looking for admission at NSOU need to meet the last educational qualification.  Admission is through Management Entrance Test (NSOU-MET) followed by Personal Interview (PI) of 100marks. The NSOU-ET may be of 100 marks (English-30, Mathematics-30, Aptitude-20 and GK20) based on MCQ. The students may be selected on the basis of the results of NSOU-MET & PI.

SOT PDEU admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE score. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. Phase-I of the admission is for GATE qualified candidates. Non-GATE-qualified candidates can participate in Phase-II of the admission. 

The university prepares a merit list for GATE qualified and non-GATE qualified candidates based on performance in personal interview round and GATE score. Once selected, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

No, candidates can take admission in M.Tech programme of SOT PDEU without GATE score also. The university accepts admission for non-GATE qualified candidates in Phase-II. However, the application process is common. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. The merit list for such aspirants are prepared based on PI performance. Candidate who has applied for more than one branch has to appear in personal interview for all the respective branches separately

SOT PDEU has not specified the deadline for applying for M.Tech programme. However, it is likely to close applications in June for Phase-I as per the 2023 schedule. The total fee for SOT PDEU M.Tech is INR 3.25 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the unviersity. The total fee includes a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 and a refundable library deposit of INR 3,000. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee in the start. The application fee is INR 700 for each programme.

SOT Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers two-year M.Tech programme divided into four semesters. The school offers M.Tech in various specialisations, such as Environmental, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc. The admission to MTech programme will be based on GATE score. Non-GATE candidates can also get admission based on their performance in the personal interview round.
