Good cinematography is a specialisation that you should pursue at FTII. It could be a long struggle to establish your career though. Many consider it safer to pursue mass communication and journalism program at any good university like Manipal University, Udupi or Nitte University, Mangalore or SiMC, Pune and then get into cinematography once they learn more about the process of communication. Their understanding of cinematography itself would be more wholesome then.
