I presume you are talking about the PGDM program, as in, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, offered by reputed B Schools, which is equivalent to an MBA program. If that is the case, you should necessarily look at taking the CAT test in November. You should look at scoring at least 95 percentile in your CAT, to have a realistic chance of making it to the top 50 B Schools in India. On the other hand, if you are talking about the one year diploma program, I strongly suggest you drop it. It will not give you any kind of leverage, as far as your career is concerned

There are world class B Schools in India. I really do not see any point in doing an MBA from abroad, unless you are looking at B Schools which come under the Ivy League. Kindly give it a serious thought before you make a decision.
