Yes, for most UG courses in Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology and Management, admissions are merit-based and not entrance exam-based. BBA, BBA in Hospital Management, and BSc chiefly look at Class 12 marks from well-known boards such as CBSE, WBCHSE, and ISC. But for some courses such as BCA and MSc, one might have to sit for the MAKAUT CET entrance test. It is always best to look at the eligibility for a course before applying.

Admission to Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology and Management is based on the minimum eligibility criteria for each course. Even if the candidate's score is just below the lower level of 40% for BBA or 45% for BCA, he or she can be selected for admission. But a few courses need higher percentages, particularly science-related courses such as BSc in Medical Lab Technology. If your score is low, you can look for other admission possibilities or enhance your qualifications by taking more entrance exams.

The difficulty level of the entry test of DAITM, similar to MAKAUT CET, depends upon the preparation and academic background of the candidate. The test normally examines subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, and General Knowledge, depending on the course. If students study well and are aware of the syllabus of the test, they can perform well in the test. Any student can handle it with good study habits and practice.

Yes, it is possible to get admission into DAITM with 50% in Class 12 for some courses like BSc in Medical Lab Technology and BCA. However, eligibility is course-dependent, and some courses have more percentage requirements or specific subjects like Mathematics, Biology, or Computer Science. The students can check the specific requirements of admission for their course of interest on the official site. Satisfying the minimum percentage is not assured since other considerations such as entry tests can also come into play.
