There are various career options available these days. However, I would recommend that you first concentrate on your 10th standard as it is very crucial in setting up a firm foundation. Before you decide what to do after 10th std, it is important that you become aware of a critical factor for success in your chosen profession. Lack of strong understanding of the basics will hinder your ability to grasp the advanced topics that will be covered in college. For this reason alone, it is important that you take your 10th, 11th & 12th studies seriously. Science, Commerce & Humanities are the three streams available after 10th for 11th & 12th class studies and you have to choose one of them for your further studies.
With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology). Apart from doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management etc. you can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, industrial design, packaging, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses and a host of post 10 + 2 level vocational courses. With a PCM combination of subjects, you can pursue almost any field you set your mind on. You can ofcourse do Engineering which is a professional degree and has streams such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Communication etc. You can do your graduation in subjects of your interest, even switching to Humanities or Commerce streams if you so desire. You can do a BCA (Computer Applications), BBA (Business Administration), Law, Civil Aviation – Pilot, Astronomy, Architecture, Design, Mass Communication, Merchant Navy, Defense Forces, Psychology, Civil Services etc. To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field.

In order to pursue MBA from IIMs you must hold a bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, plus you need to take CAT test.
Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include:
1. Written Ability Test (WAT).
2. Group Discussions (GD)
3. Personal Interviews (PI).
Performance in CAT examination is an important component in the admission process.
IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.

You are right it is neither aicte approved nor it is offering mba instead it is offering pgpm.
I would say that its not matter of pgpm or mba ya it is right that you will not get government job or some companies dont accept pgpm but it is also a fact that there are many good b schools which are neighter aicte approved but they are giving good placements.
Now coming back to ibs,finance was best in mumbai till last year in comparision to other campus but this year it wasnt upto mark.although the placements were satisfactory but dont expect more.
The average package is around 4 lacs p.a the biggest drawback is intake becouse they take so many students(current batch strength 750) which is difficult to place them.
As far as taking admission is concerened i will suggeat you that if you are getting some other good colg. Then wait for that otherwise ibs is not a bad option.
