In order to pursue MBA from IIMs you must hold a bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, plus you need to take CAT test.
Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include:
1. Written Ability Test (WAT).
2. Group Discussions (GD)
3. Personal Interviews (PI).
Performance in CAT examination is an important component in the admission process.

I would say that its not matter of pgpm or mba ya it is right that you will not get government job or some companies dont accept pgpm but it is also a fact that there are many good b schools which are neighter aicte approved but they are giving good placements.
Now coming back to ibs,finance was best in mumbai till last year in comparision to other campus but this year it wasnt upto mark.although the placements were satisfactory but dont expect more.
The average package is around 4 lacs p.a the biggest drawback is intake becouse they take so man
