Although chances are very low with this rank in JEE Mains, but you should apply for this college at the time of counselling. You may get a seat in the second or third round.

Hi,
As your rank in JEE Mains is low, you cannot get admission in any government college. However, you can apply for private colleges like Amity University, Sharda University, Lovely Professional University, Galgotias University, etc. at the time of counselling through JoSAA. All the colleges accepting JEE Mains score are available on JoSAA. No other counselling than JoSAA is there in JEE Mains.

Hi Soumyajit,
As your rank is low, so it will be better if you go for private colleges of West Bengal, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh etc. In west Bengal, you can go for Techno India, Haldia, Heritage, IIEST Shibpur, etc. for Bachelor of architecture courses.
Best of luck.

Hi,
It depends on where you are applying. Mostly, your own profile will matter but if you are from a top ranking university then it will have its own advantage, however, if you don't meet the requirements and not good in academics, etc. then it won't matter.

It would be better if you pursue BA rather than B.Sc as the subjects of BA will be of great help while preparing for IAS exam. Most common subjects like history, civics, constitution and geography are the part of IAS's syllabus. Therefore, go for BA rather than B.Sc.

Normally, 4 years' course in any Indian college qualifies for a further study in colleges/universities abroad. For an engineering student, it is easy but for a graduate of science, as any graduation course is 3 years, it is necessary to do post-graduation for studying abroad. It is possible with M.Sc degree only. However, get current information from foreign universities offering MS courses. You can go for GRE exam. You will get scholarship too.
