If you are in general categories, then chances will be 50-50. They keep you in waiting list. And, you have to wait, but if you are in OBC/SC/ST category, then definitely you will get admission.

For admission in any management colleges in India, you need to appear for CMAT or CAT. So getting a good college that is UGC approved, you need to give a eligibility exam. You need to give CAT, CMAT or ATMA for getting into eligibility. For direct/paid admissions also, you need to have the eligibility criteria cleared.
Thank you.

I get a lot of questions about this thrown at me by concerned students and parents alike. Apparently, there is a lot of misinformation about this, and I was shocked to hear that a reputed institution for IIT coaching was apparently spreading this misinformation about this (So, students dont take IB and rather sign up for his IIT coaching academy). So, let me take this opportunity to clear the air on this. And, the simple answer to your question is, yes you can.

Getting admitted to JMI is very difficult for a Hindu or as a matter of fact any candidate who is from other religion other than Muslim. The college has more than 50% seats reserved for Muslim candidates so if you really want to get through then you need to get at least in the top 10 or 15 of the merit list.

Hi,
Kindly predict your college in this college predictor. JEE Mains rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Mains and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs. The rank predicted might not be accurate but it certainly does give an idea to the aspirant. Know your college admission chances based on your JEE Main Rank, Home State, Caste, Gender, etc. here:

Yes, you can. In SASTRA, 70% seats for B.Tech course are filled on the basis of JEE Main score along with prior weightage to the marks in 10+2.
30% seats in B.Tech are filled on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling. In the case of admission through JEE Main over 70% seats, 75% weightage will be given to JEE Main score while 25% to the marks in 10+2. In the case of admission, on the basis of 10+2 merit over 30% seats, normalized marks of each board will be considered.
Best of luck.
