As you are already through with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) which is a license course, the options for higher education are plenty.
You may go for options such as Master of Engineering or MBA.
You can appear and qualify for AMAeSI (Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India) which is fully recognized by Government of India/ State Government/ Union Public Service Commission/ GATE for MTech admission/ Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd/ Indian Airlines/ Air India/ BHEL/ DRDO/ NAL/ IAF/ Coast Guard/ Airline Industries/ Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi/ Madras Institute of Technology as equivalent to BE/ BTech (Aeronautical Engineering).

As for the degree course after diploma, you may join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year.
