To register for BEd in Maharashtra and study the course at a government college, applicants must first pass the BEd entrance test (MAH BEd CET). For private colleges, the MAH BEd CET is not required.

B Ed stands for Bachelors in Education. Students who seek to pursue their careers in education field opt for this course. it helps students understand the early childhood care with prospective learnings of future teaching. it helps developing teaching aptitude in future teachers and educators.

To be eligible for MAH BEd CET, candidates who belong to the open category then a minimum 55% aggregate in graduation or equivalent. The reserved ones get the relaxation of 5% making 50% the aggregate score.
