Candidates are guided through the process of finding an internship by the GIBS Business School in Bangalore (India): The School of Youth Leadership (SoYL) is a programme that helps students improve their leadership skills, gain self-confidence, and improve their decision-making ability. The Certification Programme in Personal Mastery (CPMP) is a major component of both the PGDM and BBA courses at the GIBS Business School. Finally, the Skills Mastery Program is a weekly programme dedicated to developing the interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills of students through personal development training. Through this program, students are assigned a mentor who will provide them with guidance and assistance in finding an internship.

If you're asking about the PGDM at GIBS, honestly the eligibility part is pretty straightforward. You just need to have completed your graduation in any stream (like BBA, BCom, BTech, BA, etc.). Even students who are in their final year can apply — so it's not like you need to wait forever.

Apart from that, you need to have a valid score from entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, KMAT, etc. Nothing scary — even I applied with MAT. GIBS looks more at overall fit, motivation, and how serious you are about building a career than just raw marks.

·       Students should opt to introduce him/herself in a simple way. Avoid using language that creates confusion. Keep it simple, it will enhance your confidence.

·       SLAT PI is mainly to assess the student's personality. Hence, to succeed, students must be able to express about him/herself in a strong way. Articulate well about the strengths and weaknesses. You can speak in front of mirror or write down on paper about it, for practice.

·       Be honest. If you try to make up things and speak something that looks artificial, the authorities get to know about it. Do not lie as that can put you in a spot and make you look undercofident, dishonest and confused.
