i myself have suffered from this very dilemma since long. since you are in your 1st yr ,you have plenty of time in hand. you could go for masters in the subject that you want to take your optional such as pub ad. i would suggest you to start preparing for general studies paper & CSAT as soon as possible. consult good teachers and guides who could give your good track of all the imp points.

Please remember every institute has its own course specific eligibility criteria for admission, in order to know the exact eligibility criteria it would be always advisable to browse through the institute's website you wish to apply.
Overall, in order to pursue BBA, you need to be 12th pass from any stream preferably with 50% marks in class 12th, plus you need to take entrance test conducted by various institutes.
