No, maths is not compulsory subject in 11th and 12th classes for in further in degree courses with Geography. You can also do study in Geography without Maths in classes of 11th and 12th. Students should have passed 12th class with good marks in geography or equivalent from a recognised Board are eligible for the B.A. Geography course. So the mathematics subject is not compulsory for taking admission to B.A. Geography course. The candidates after completion of the course can pursue higher studies in Geography there is no issue.

Several colleges provide direct admission to BMS course, without any entrance exam, like graphic era university, petroleum University, etc.

Hello Kronzie, this year authorities have reduced percentage of 12th requirements by 5%. Hence it is now 45% & 40% for general category and reserved catagory students respectively. NIT's have different fees than IIT's. In private colleges, fees are invariably decided by each state based on the recommendation of fee fixation committee headed by a HC judge.
