Hi Archana,
The National Eligibility Test (NET) to be conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi is scheduled to be held on June 29. The interested candidates can apply for the same before May 5.
The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
The candidates are required to have score 55 per cent marks in Masters Degree.
The candidates who are in their final year of Masters programme or those whose examinations have been delayed can also apply. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be eligible after their results are declared and they obtain minimum 55 per cent marks in those exams.

Hi Jagatjeet,
After completing B.Tech you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, M.Tech etc)
However the best and suitable option for you would be to work for 3-5 years after completing your B.Tech and then opt for further studies.
The advantage of this step would be:
You will gain relevant work experience.
After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technical field, then you may pursue M.Tech, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.
