It's not IIT-level tough, but it's not a walk in the park either. R.M.D. is pretty popular in Tamil Nadu, thanks to solid placements and rankings. If your 12th PCM marks are decent, you've got a fair shot through TNEA. Just make sure you fill out your choices smartly during counselling—timing and rank matter big time.

Food's decent, nothing too fancy. You'll usually get both veg and non-veg options (probably on a schedule). Most students say it's alright—not hotel level, but clean and filling. If you're picky, there are always nearby food joints or you can order out. Wanna be sure? Ask a current student or hit up their Insta tags—nothing hides from the feed.
