Calcutta Institute of Technology (CIT) offered different branch-based cutoffs along with category based cutoffs, in the case of WBJEE 2024. In * General All India (Round 1), B.Tech CSE was closed at 58,715*. Branches such as Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Chemical and Civil Engineering had closings as high as *110,682*. The level of cutoff in reserved category and TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) schemes were way different. The best and official website to get information about WBJEEB counselling is the one mentioned on the official site of WBJEEB.

Admission in Calcutta Institute of Technology (CIT) into B.E./ B.Tech is *moderately tough*. It needs good marks in *WBJEE* or *JEE Main*. In case of CSE (General, All India), ranks are closed usually around 58,000-110,000 in WBJEE but it may be higher (e.g. around 163,000 to 1.2 million), depending on the round/source in JEE Main. The other branches are usually not that competitive. To be qualified to attend 10+2 and to attend at the centralized WBJEE counselling is vital.
