No, NEET is not needed for DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) admission. The admission for the DMLT course is usually based on Class 12 (PCB/PCM) merit or an entrance exam by the college for admission consideration.
It is a more common choice for students thinking about entering the health sector without writing a competitive exam like NEET.

I faced the same question when I was deciding between DMLT and BMLT. It really depends on your goals. If you want to start working quickly, DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology) is a good option — it's shorter and gets you into the field faster.
But if you're aiming for deeper knowledge, better job roles, or higher studies later, BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology) is the better choice. Personally, I went for BMLT because I wanted long-term growth and more career options in healthcare.
Both are good — just depends on your plan.
