To be eligible for admission to the Master of Arts (M.A.) programme at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), candidates must meet the following criteria:

 Educational Qualification: Any recognised University's Bachelor of any discipline.

 Minimum Marks: A cumulative of at least fifty percent marks in the undergraduate program. In the case of candidates is reserved category may be able to score minimum of 45% marks.

 Age Limit: It is to mention that, there is no restrictions of age so far as the admission to the M.A. programme in IGNOU is concerned. It takes two years generally to complete the M.A. programme of IGNOU but has limit up to five years.

The total fee for the programme is around fifteen thousand, four hundred only which may differ in accordance with the chosen specialization.
