The Early Confirmation Award is a scholarship offered by Queen's University Belfast to new international students who are accepted to a full-time programme with the following terms & conditions -

1. The Early Confirmation Award discount is exclusively available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2025/26. Exclusions apply.
2. Students must hold an unconditional offer of a place on a full-time programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus starting in the academic year 2025/26 and pay their net tuition fees* in full by the following deadlines:  

• Undergraduate unconditional offer holders 31 August 2025*
• Postgraduate Taught unconditional offer holders 31 July 2025*
• Postgraduate Research unconditional offer holders before the start date given in their offer letter.

3. Net tuition fees = tuition fees less any scholarship previously notified by International Scholarships and the Early Confirmation Award. For confirmation of the total to be paid contact International Scholarships

4. Students wishing to avail of the Early Confirmation Award discount must email proof of transfer to International Scholarships. Students who do not confirm their payment to International Scholarships may find their discount is not applied.

5. The discount is awarded for the first year only of an eligible programme.

6. The Early Confirmation Award may be used in conjunction with other awards administered by International Scholarships, Global Student Recruitment and may also be used in conjunction with the Brickfield Exceptional Student Scholarship and the MBA Scholarships offered by Queen’s Business School. Please contact International Scholarships for confirmation of eligible awards.

7. Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this discount. Students paying NI, ROI, EU or GB fees are not eligible for the Early Confirmation Award discount.

8. Students must be self-funded i.e. the tuition fees are being paid by yourself or your family at the full international tuition fee rate.

9. Where Queen’s University Belfast has agreed discounted tuition fees with partner institutions, those students should check their eligibility by contacting International Scholarships

Some of the scholarships offered to international students are Early Confirmation Award, GREAT Scholarship, Queen’s Business School Scholarship for South Asia, International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship. 1. Queen’s Business School Scholarship for South Asia: Indian students are eligible for this scholarship. They must hold an offer to PG-taught programs at the university. The scholarship amount for this scholarship is £6,000
2. GREAT Scholarship: QUB offers 2 GREAT Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. Each of these scholarships is worth £10,000. These are for some of the taught master’s subjects of the university such as LLM International Human Rights Law, LLM Law, LLM International Human Rights Law, etc. Note that Indian students are also eligible for this scholarship

No. Candidates will have to download the FRI entrance exam 2025 admit card online. The admit card will not be sent to the candidate via mail, post or courier. Hence, as and when the admit card is released, candidates will have to visit the official website of the exam, log in with their registration credentials and download the document in PDF format. They must also ensure that they download the admit card immediately after release and not wait for the last moment.
