MNLU Mumbai admits students based solely on their performance in the entrance examination. Those seeking admission to the UG programme at MNLU Mumbai must take the CLAT, while those seeking admission to the PG programme must take the CLAT PG.  For the LLM programme a candidate's eligibility for admission to the LLM programme is determined by their performance on the CLAT as well as the LLB with a 50% score. The Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai offers the following courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels:

• BA-LLB (Hons.) -Candidates are admitted to the BA-LLB programme based on their CLAT scores and the  fees for this course is Rs.1.53 Lakhs ( first year).
• LLM - Admission to the LLM course is also on the basis of candidates’ performance on the CLAT and the total fees for this course is Rs. 3.79 Lakhs.
• Ph.D. - Admission to the Ph.D. course shall be made through the Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) which is conducted by the University. Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET/JRF need not appear in the test and can go straight to the personal interview. The  fees is Rs. 2.12 Lakhs (first year).
