It can, be said that admission to Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC), Tirupati is not easy to get because it is a government medical college and there are limited intakes. Basis NEET UG rank, students are given admission and to qualify students have to perform very well under state and all India quota. For the general category inclusive of the home state quota, the NEET cutoff score is as low as 590-620 for admission in the year 2023. The cutoff may change every year, therefore admission may not be easy, especially for nonlocal candidates.

But as per the session of 2021-22, the average salary package offered was INR 5.9 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 21.5 LPA.
