Hello Aasim Bhat, degrees awarded by universities abroad are normally recognised in India. In any case private companies will not be insistent on knowing applicability of degree in India. They will rather like to know your capabilities. On the other hand for government jobs one indeed requires degree that is recognised by Indian government. There are thousands of universities abroad and giving one line answer here is not possible. But you can find from the net about a particular university abroad. Best wishes to you.
