As per the Honorable Supreme Court of India, AICTE approval is not required for private colleges running University approved MBA programs. So the MBA degree offered by these colleges are considered as recognized.
Remember only MBA degree provided by these colleges are recognized not PGDM. So if a college is providing PGDM degree without AICTE approval then it is considered as illegal or non recognized.

There is no fixed number as to the number of questions one should attempt. However scoring around 65 to 70% marks in the test should give you a decent rank to qualify for the GD/PI rounds.
