After Diploma in Mechanical engineering, you may join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.

Procedure :
To take admission, there is Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests. You may directly contact the university officials as lateral entry criteria and admission procedure differs from one college to another.

No, you are not eligible.
Trained Graduate Teachers should have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject for recruitment and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
However you can go for a masters degree and score 50% or above. Also you need to study B.ED program. And once done with both, proceed with PGT.
Post Graduate Teacher requires Masters Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned or related subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
