Hello Beulah, I hope you are talking if percentile and not percentage. Last year cutoffs of JEE Mains were just above 72 percentile for OBC students. So if same trend continues you may not be even eligible. But getting percentile just equal to cutoff will not get you anywhere since admissions will definitely close at higher percentile than cutoff. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should appear for next cycle of JEE Mains examination for improvement in your percentile. This only will enable you to get admission in a NIT. If you were doing engineering graduation by distance education mode then you can not continue. You can think of doing AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering in all respects.
