Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU, offers a four-year BSc in Nursing in the full-time mode. To secure a BSc seat at the institute, candidates must appear for the accepted entrance exam, i.e. NEET UG. To be eligible to sit for the exam, candidates must meet the requirements listed below:

• Candidates must have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)
• Candidates must have secured at least 50% in Class 12 (For the General category)
• Candidates must be at least 17 years old, with a maximum age of 25 years

It is not possible to get admission at XIM University with 90 percentile through CAT Exam. As per the XIM University cutoff data, the required cutoff for CAT exam was 91 for the General AI category candidates.

Candidates seeking BSc admission at IMS BHU (Varanasi) can start the admission process by checking their eligibility. Those who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria can register for NEET UG, the entrance exam accepted for BSc admission at the institute. Shortlisted candidates are allotted IMS BHU BSc seats through the counselling following NEET UG. The counselling is based on the candidates' performance in the entrance exam. Such candidates must complete the admission procedure by getting their documents verified at the campus and submitting the prescribed fees.

To get admission in XIM University, graduation is the minimum qualification. Hence, mere qualifying Class 12 won't get admission in the institute. Candidates need to complete graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for a course. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for reserved category aspirants. Any candidates with 60% in graduation can get admission provided they also meet other selection requirements. According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to MSc graduates at Mangalore University, ranges from INR 2.1 Lacs to INR 4.4 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to MSc graduates at Mysore University ranges from INR 2 Lacs to INR 30 lakh.
