VIVA Institute of Technology doesn't provide on-campus hostel facilities, so there isn't a hostel mess for students.

Many students, especially those coming from outside the city, opt for paying guest accommodations or shared apartments in nearby areas like Virar or Vasai.

These places usually offer their own dining options, but the quality of food can vary depending on the place. Some PGs offer home-style meals, while others might have more basic offerings.

On a 3-acre campus, VIVA Institute of Technology features state-of-the-art facilities such as six specialised labs, a computerized library with more than 25,000 books and e-journals, and tech-enabled classrooms. There are sports facilities, an auditorium, a canteen, and Wi-Fi on campus, however connectivity is spotty. For students who live far away, the lack of on-campus housing presents difficulties. Transportation, a gym and a medical center are extra facilities. Although the peaceful village setting reduces distractions there are no recreational amenities and some people have complained about the antiquated lab equipment.
