Mess food is said to be generally on the average side. However, it varies from one student to another. The mess keeps reasonably hygienic conditions; the menu consists mainly of a hybrid of North Indian dishes prepared keeping in mind the cultural background of the students.

Most review comments say the food is decent but could improve further on taste and variety. The hostel mess is quite well kept and maintains clean dining areas, providing three meals a day to hostel residents. Some students appreciate the cheap price and availability of food, while others note that the quality could be better.
