It is somewhat difficult to get accepted to SKR Engineering College in Chennai.  Students are admitted to the college via the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process, which is merit-based and takes into account the total scores earned in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in the 10+2 exam.  Higher scoring applicants are more likely to get admitted, particularly in well-known fields like computer Science and engineering.

Yes, you can get direct admission to SKR Engineering College. The institution offers only BTech and MBA courses. To be eligible for admission to any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in the previous qualification in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in TNEA counseling for BTech and TANCET for MBA. There are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota.
