I don't know about many colleges and universities in Punjab. But, there is one college named PCTE Group of Institutes that I could recommend you for your post-graduation, I in fact have done my Masters from PCTE Group of Institutes and the college is known to provide practical exposure to its students that's the reason its students have bagged 43 University gold medal in the University examination. My journey for 2 years at PCTE has been amazing be it academically as we were given practical experience or in exploring other skills. PCTE works a lot on its students whether it is on their communication skills or in increasing the confidence by sending the students on nationwide competitions, or how to have a professional code of conduct, to being aware of what is happening globally, understanding the concepts by providing hands on experience and the list goes on, the college always wanted us to standout. Hello Dinesh, It is always suggested to opt for an honours course as it gives you in-depth knowledge and understanding of the papers vis-a-vis a general course. Further, B.Com (Hons) usually has a focus on accounting and finance apart from Management papers such as organisational behaviour, cost accountancy, economics etc. Good universities usually have a well defined curriculum, good faculty, industry connect, placement and industry opportunities to name a few. Indian Universities like DU, IILM University Gurugram, IP University offer most of the above. Lastly, these universities better your prospects of opting for a Masters and/or give you a good grounding to pursue a CA/CS. You might want to visit the websites of these universities to apply.
